Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County

Rock the Block

October 20th - November 17th, 2016
28418 Brentwood St.

Join Habitat for Humanity and the Southfield Neighborhood Commission as we partner to revitalize a Southfield neighborhood! Volunteers will be working on approximately 15 different projects throughout the neighborhood that will include landscaping, painting, cleaning gutters, repairing fences and porches.

LOCATION: The event will be at Catalpa Oaks Park, which is located at the corner of Greenfield and Catalpa in Southfield, MI. Parking is available.

Please wear closed toe, hard-soled shoes, long pants and try to dress weather appropriate, since we are in Michigan that might be a challenge. Extra layers of clothing and a rain coat are good to have on hand.

Habitat provides all of the tools, but you are welcome to bring your own work gloves and tool belt if you want.

Habitat will also be providing a light breakfast and lunch, but feel free to bring your own snacks or meals if you have dietary restrictions.

If you have any questions concerning this event, please contact our Volunteer Manager, Annabelle Wilkinson, at: Phone: 248-338-1843 x284 Email: annabellew@habitatoakland.org
